Samantha Edwards is a London-based, self-taught artist whose creative background stems from working in fashion design. Sam’s surreal images are influenced by her time as a clothing designer, drawing parallels between art and fashion acting as a tool for self-expression.

Sam focuses her work on exploring the complexities of identity and emotion looking at what it means to be human. Approaching her work both as an artist and designer Sam creates surreal forms through the sculpting and draping of her fabric skin while utilizing her love of embroidery. Sam’s fabric skin reimagines the anatomical figure, seeking to reflect the intricate layers of being human.
